FAQs
1. What is transcellular fluid?
Transcellular fluid is the smallest proportion of extracellular fluid making up less than 3%. This fluid is 'walled off' from blood plasma and interstitial fluid by epithelial cells (however is not contained within cells). Examples include CSF (cerebrospinal fluid), aqueous & vitreous humour (eye fluid), synovial fluid (joint fluid), endolymph (ear fluid)...

thank you so much you are amazing <3 i would not have understood this without you!!!!!
but why isnt the water entering the interstitium from the descending limb diluting the gradient ?
Why does the osmolarity of the interstitium not decrease when water flows in from the thin descending limb?
marry me
Thank you so much!! This is a bit beyond A level but its really helped my understanding. Thank you !!
Brilliant video! great overview of the CN's for anyone who's a visual learner such as myself and has been having trouble recalling individual nerves without running through the nemonic each time.
Why the eliquibrate does not change the osmolarity on the interstial space??? Osmolarity is concentration, if water comes out, the osmolarity must change
best educational video I have seen
Splendid
Wait! But...... Why does equilibrating not change the osmolarity of the interstitial fluid?!!! Is it because of the simultanous accumulation of ions from the pump on the ascending limb??
Goals on goals for an MS1
It is incorrect that the basolateral membrane is facing the lumen as it actually is the apical membrane.
the way our body establishes a steady state concentration from an initial condition is very cool
I’m studying the mcat now and the excretory system is one of the few systems I never understood but this video is amazing 🤩 thank you so much
bless your soul
As a visual learner this helped me SO MUCH! Thank you for your creativity!
I don’t understand
Amazing!!!!!❤thank youuuuu
I LOVE THIS TYSM!!!! Greetings from USA 🇺🇸
9 years later and this video still helps med students
Halo can you explain to me why when the water goes to the interstitium there is no change in osmolarity in the interstitium?
Yoooo thank you my teacher was yapping about this and made it more confusing you are a sainnt
Nice
Searched up “the single effect” and got this
Perfect this is Guyton in video
Excellent and easy way to remember cranial nerves, Thank you
i don´t understand the step at 3:45min. Why does the osmolarity in the intestitium change from 400 to 300 in the upper area?
Could you please explain in hindi
the best
WHY doesnt equilibration change the osmolarity of the interstitial Fluid?
🙌
why doesn't the secreted water in the descending part affect the ISF concentration???

Please come backkkk!
gracias
You saved me😍you video is a great help thanks
what a fantastic video. thank you so much!

Amazing, this helped me memorize in no time! Thank you very much for putting your creation online. :)
Easy and quick explanation, thanks sis
Best video ever
Very Insightful video; but I must say, If my assumption of what you meant isn't wrong; that albumin is definitely not within the size range of the filtration barrier ❤
This is super helpful ❤
Awesome
Long years of confusion got cleared with ur Short vedio.its amazing,it's wonderful.made easy to understand.
Even if I'm a french student I understood this video 1200 times better than my course
best explanation from all the mnemonics videos i have seen about cranial nerves. Thank you!
Oh, wow, what an incredibly exciting and enthralling greeting we have here - "Hello." I mean, seriously, who could have predicted such an extraordinary utilization of the English language? Bravo, truly gripping stuff. The sheer audacity to choose "Hello" as the opening statement is truly mind-boggling. I can hardly contain my overwhelming emotions. How utterly thrilling.
Incredible work
I love you so much ❤❤❤
